What is a Domain Name?
A domain name is the address by which your website is found on the internet.
For example www.digitalshadow.co.uk

How do I choose one?
These days many of the obvious domain names are already taken. However, we understand the importance of creating that presence you require on the internet for your website, so we can help and advise you on what domain name best suits your website.

New Domain Name
You need to purchase a domain name, but not sure how to do it? DigitalShadow can help you. Many of our clients leave us in charge of their domain names. This is done for a few reasons.
Firstly, the domain name is registered in our name, protecting your identity from whois lookups.
Also, we can manage your domain name setup easily, and not need your intervention if we roll out upgrades.
However, this doesn’t mean that if you want to leave we will own your domain name, we will gladly transfer it to you no questions asked.

If you already have a domain name, you can use that with us at no extra cost!

Can I have more than one domain name for my website?
Yes! You can have as many domain names pointing to your website as you would like. This can be a good idea for driving extra traffic to your site.

Can I have a .com or .info domain name?
Yes! We can offer the majority of TLD (Top Level Domains) for you to use for your website.

How much do they cost?
Prices start from £6 a year.
