Since 1999 our mission At DigitalShadow has been simple.

We understand that not everyone was born in the “Digital Age”, and as such we strive to make life as simple as we can for you. We are known for our local business approach and we understand the needs of local shop owners. As such, for all customers we offer fully managed web sites to make running your web site all the easier. Our prices start from an amazing £2 a month, with no up front costs! Other companies want over £400 a year for the same service!
Even though we focus on local business’ in the Portsmouth, Cosham, Farlington, Gosport, Hayling Island, Fareham and Havant area of Hampshire we also work with companies from the Southampton area and beyond. Not only that we are trusted with web sites for business’ located in Kent, Sussex, London, Lincolnshire as well as international web sites located in the USA and Spain.
Our History
In 1999 we began offering web design in Kent, since then we have gone from strength to strength expanding our customer base to include foreign customers. Since 2006 we have had our own servers in two data centres, one in the USA and our others are located in France.
We are looking at expanding into a UK data centre where we can have direct access to our servers as we want to ensure the highest level of service to our customers.
In 2004 we relocated to Portsmouth.
In 2008 we created DigitalShadow.biz which caters for business customers, it enables business’ to quickly find the information they are looking for regarding web design and web hosting.
In 2008 we also created DigitalShadow.mobi which is designed for mobile phones and pda’s.
In 2008 we updated our hosting, billing and customer contact systems and launched DigitalShadow.info where customers can access all the areas of their hosting account, billing details and also find ways to get support of leave feedback.
In January 2009 we started the year by offering a Credit Crunch Special, Free Web Design!
In December 2009 we relocated to Whiteley where we are currently based.
We have launched a local campaign in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas to rid local firms of over priced web hosting and get their websites updated and looking modern and fresh.
